Honestly, man, I don't think the mods can do much about it. So far, it hasn't been harassing or harming anybody (maybe annoying people, but not to the point of actual harassment). I guess the best you can do is ignore it for right now.

They could. Maybe it's cooled down anyway, but still, it's spam, and it seems like mods don't care about it, which frankly is something they could change

Okay, so if I just said right now "skibid rizz ohio uwu" and that is the entirety of the post, then that would be considered spam.
However, if I said "skibid rizz ohio uwu 67" and proceeded to add real context (meaning I didn't just copy and paste some random bs from ChatGPT), then that itself is not spam. A bit annoying and cringe, yes, but not spam.

The people that post the brainrot almost never follow the second scenario you described. It's always the first scenario.
All I can hope is that it cools down and runs its course anyway
IT makes a LOT of sense that you guys hate brainrot. BUT, you don't really have to be addicted. just spend mere 5 minutes on brainrot!!! BUT dont use it too much. so if you completely hate it, then just avoid it. DO not insult it.

Mods don't remove blatantly racist, sexist and homophobic content nor the not-so-subtle nazi dogwhistles and you expect them to tackle the brainrot?
