My post was deleted and I was banned from posting and chatting. I am sure that they afterwards also placed me in a category where I only met suspected cheaters
I didn't know about this. I've been hearing about chess.com not wanting to promote others, but I didn't think they would go this far.
Chess.com is an alright website. But Lichess is just way cleaner. They do have more custom game modes and bots but honestly, I don't even play any of them. Moreover, chess.com has a paywall and I'm not gonna give them money for stuff I can do over at lichess just fine. I can't even do puzzles without a subscription.
One thing I do like about chess.com is probably the game analysis and the coach explanations. I like it better than lichess.org. But 700 INR per month isn't really what am I'm gonna pay for just some extra words.

lichess lets anyone run a bot here. I've never played any, but there are probably 100s of different types of bots on lichess you can play with. lichess.org/player/bots
different strokes for different folks, but I never understood the appeal of mittens, etc.
ive actually played against one of the bots here before lol

Yeah, there's a good reason not to like Greenpawn: far too much of those shenanigans on the part of management.

Lichess takes in all the banned, exiles and lepers. Be grateful and humble for this asylum.

I find all colors and shapes, both in the pieces and boards, better on lichess than on Chess.com. At Chess.com, everything is too candy-colored, gaudy and confusing for me.

Lichess is better in almost every respect. The only reason I play on cc is because I like to play 30 min games, and over there it's faster to find a pairing.

It's a compliment.
It's not a compliment. I don't like chess dot com so I'm here and not on chess dot com. When I don't like something and I don't use it then it is never a compliment.
Lichess is far better then this paywall site.

I think what they meant is when someone uses the words "other site" its a compliment
