No, the best players do not need to study a lot, they are born with a 2800 rating.
He became a GM when he was a teen.

It's impossible for the best players to already start with a 2800 rating. I disagree. BOO!!

very poor explanation.
@LiamMalaver the person who is emotionally attached to chess every time, always thinks that he/she is the best, believes in himself/herself, and works equally hard for his/her dreams deserves to become a grandmaster. If you think about Magnus, we only know that he enjoyed chess as 'hobby' as a child . He is surely hiding something from media and us ; that is, he had spent days and nights for his dreams. I have cried a lot, and I still cry while remembering my chess achievements and losses. I also have spent hundreds of hours on chess, and I have a FIDE rating of 2000. Anybody can become who they want to be, the only difference is that how much you love chess, and how you bounce back after some of your most tragic moments of chess career :)
@SarKarlsen17 @ahmadammar20F don't you guys understand sarcasm lol

I clearly understand that he is joking, but it hits badly when you are studying chess and you see people saying like this, even if that was a joke :)
My guess would be : by playing very good chess at a young age. He is known for his exceptional memory. Also he himself admits he didn't work very hard for it, just loves the game and didn't like to get homework for chess. Cheers.
There are plenty (approaching infinity) of threads on this forum on how to improve at chess. If you are too lazy to read them, I doubt you have what it takes to become 2000, let alone 2800.
Thanks all for the answers :)
