How did Magnus Carlsen become a grandmaster??

@SarKarlsen17 said in #5:

Anybody can become who they want to be, the only difference is that how much you love chess, and how you bounce back after some of your most tragic moments of chess career :)

Not true, you can achieve as much as the limit of your talent and intelligence permits, and even that requires lots of hard work. There is a clear limit for everyone and for most people it's rather mediocre. No matter how much you study, you will come nowhere near Carlsen's level. He is a once in a generation phenomenon.

That "anybody can become who they want to be" is the biggest lie ever.

You can't.

That is the reality why you are you, and Magnus is Magnus
He was born on earth. I was also born on earth. He studied chess. I also studied chess.
He studied more than me. That's why he is Magnus.

talent has no limits. You are thinking like Magnus is a god. He became god only after so much hardwork.

You are severely in opposition to reality and basic facts about the distribution of human talent and intelligence.

Believe if you like in the fairy tale dream, that also you would be a Carlsen, had you just worked harder, but the reality is that the world is full of people who worked just as hard, but lacked the talent.

I really hate talking to people who have no desire to improve and succeed

Then the only reason why you are not Carlsen, must be that you didn't have the desire to put in the effort, because according to what you wrote above, if you had worked harder, you would have been at his level.

But then surely you are the one that did not have the desire to improve and succeed.
