Do you accept Takebacks?

less and less. i usually get nothing for a harmless mouseslip. i gotte give you your queen back? why?

also a draw offer, i rather blunder and lose,
than accept a draw from one who was trying to beat me from move 1
and the moment he blunders/realises he's not gonna win this one he trows an insult by offering a draw..
he was'nt thinking about that when he was winning , was he?

think about it.. why is that even a thing?

If I think my opponent mouse-slipped/miss-clicked, yes.

Only in casuals. I don’t play mush casual games so I don’t do the takebacks much. If I’m playing with a friend and they blunder then
I’ll let ’em have a takeback.

only with friends or if they accept takeback from me.

I let people takeback if they do it for me, or it was an obvious mouseslip like moving the king instead of castling

I ( try ) to give takebacks to everyone because I think people who don't give takebacks for a mouseslip are just losers who need to learn that they need to show sportsmanship. For a bad move, I would still give a takeback because people need to learn from their mistakes not rage and think that we are stupid and selfish. :) although in this scenario, its not that bad to decline a takeback from the first scenario.

Not in a rated or competitive game but yes in a casual game if ‘I think’ my opponent ‘is ok’ and yes if against someone I know. What does annoy me is giving someone a TB and they don’t reciprocate if I want one regardless of whether it’s an obvious mouse slip or incorrect move. A bit of civility costs nothing.

Absolutely not.

Takebacks can be disabled under "Preferences" -> "Game Behavior" for anyone not aware. Why Lichess even offers such an option (let alone enables it by default!) is truly beyond me.
