What PC should I buy

@NeuralGnat

@Alientcp

I agree on the idea of building, but as @NeuralGnat he might not be comfortable building a PC. I think you should either just buy one (like he wanted), or get it built from a trusted service, which might cost much more.

what would you want to use it for? Some computers are good for something, Linux is good for coding, Windows is good for gaming? I think Mac is more editing.
Windows or linux

You dont buy a pc. You build it yourself.

AMD ryzen 7 7800x3d
Radeon Rx 7800 xt, you can get a smaller one if you dont need that much, but if you do get it. You will not have to upgrade for a long time.
Between 32 and 64 GB of ram.
A good compatible motherboard.
Just make sure to get a good aftermarket cpu fan and a big enough PSU.
Recycle your HDD, but do get an M2 for OS

$1,562

Thats about right.

I paid a little less cause I found deals on the CPU and graphics card, But also I did recycled my HDD and the PSU from the old one (As I did upgraded the PSU a bit before retiring it). I also recycled the monitor, the sound system, mouse and keyboard.

So I just bought the CPU, the mobo, the fan, the graphics card, a cheap M2 (found out I need a better one, though it totally works, its just slower than what the machine allows) and cabinet.

Ill get another M2 eventually, it has 2 slots.

I don't know if it's marketing or an AI hallucination or a paranoia list, but here's an alternative hardware, for privacy-aware users, suggested by AI searches.

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (16-core Zen 5, AM5 socket)
Flagship productivity beast; disable PSP in BIOS for privacy. Cinebench: 45k+ multi-core.

Gigabyte X870E Aorus Master (AM5, ATX, WiFi 7, PCIe 5.0)
Coreboot-flashable for open firmware; neuters telemetry. Supports 192GB DDR5.

AMD Radeon RX 8900 XTX (24GB GDDR7, RDNA 4—if available) or Alt: RX 7900 XTX (24GB, RDNA 3)
Zero telemetry via Mesa drivers on Linux; 200+ FPS 4K gaming. Use alt if 8900 delayed.

Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
Low-latency for multitasking; AMD Expo optimized. No smart features.

Samsung 990 EVO 4TB NVMe (PCIe 4.0, 7,000 MB/s reads)
Disable SMART telemetry via smartctl; LUKS encrypt for privacy. Add a 2TB HDD ($50) for backups.

Fractal Design Meshify 2 (Mid-Tower, Tempered Glass, Black)
Excellent airflow; no RGB/telemetry. Fits large GPUs/radiators.

Corsair RM1000x (1000W, 80+ Gold, Fully Modular)
Quiet, efficient; ATX 3.1 for future-proofing. Zero smart monitoring.

OS Install: Boot CachyOS live USB, partition with LUKS, and run sudo pacman -S coreboot-utils for firmware tweaks.

Good luck with your searches...
