What is better? Lichess or Chess.com

I feel that people who love to repeatedly ask questions like this have this secret fantasy to increase the number of cross eyed people in certain populations by giving them serially triggered eyerolls.

Do you feel you'll get lost in the void of neutrality if you don't become a fanatic of something, anything? It almost looks like this daily dose of projected identity crisis is like the much needed caffeine for some.

To each their own.

like shadow stated earlier @Ishan_Ghosh123 there is no point in making this thread as the results are just biased and simply point to more people picking lichess over chess.com since thats the site we are on. if it was chess.com it would be the same vice versa with more people picking chess.com over lichess and nothing else. i like both sites and have tremendous experience on both interfaces and playing servers. sometimes i wanna pick chess.com and sometimes i want to pick lichess but i just cant and simply want to stay neutral since most of the time i am insecure about my feeling as its due to emotions

Stop this fight. Lichess.org is equal with Chess.com. Lichess is non-profit and Chess.com is profit site. Let them go with their work. This fight will lead to 'Site War I' in Chess world. And it will tear friendship between some people, even your best friends ones because of their thoughts. This fight mean nothing but a friendship breaking between us.

As a lichess and chessdotcom user, I must to say that chessdotcom is overall slightly better, compare pros & cons and you will see. But Lichess has too much good things for free, which makes it great, but those few things that chessdotcom has are worth the money, IMHO. Anyway I don't pay any memebership because there are enough free sources to become good at chess, if at any moment I can, I would, as donate to lichess.

I also love both the websites but Lichess has a simpler interface.

Lichess' clothing is much better: I don't know what chess.com are thinking of with their lame offerings. The lichess prints are cool.
