I thought that telling the whole rest of the world I own a medium size caravan that is now legal for me to tow with my toyota aurion car which is a sedan but much more powerful (200 kilowatts) than most 4-wheel drive heaps of suicidal garbage are was rather inane..not to mention pointless.
It rained here today but only 12 mls.

@obladie wow... Your caravan passed the test and are now ready for a road trip! That's awesome. I am happy for you.
Personally I would prefer a more off-road vehicle. But it also depends on where we are going?
I won't be with you physically, but I imagine you keep us all posted, about your daily activities during Obladie's and his missus extreme road trip.
I assume you are driving to greener pastures? Denmark also been very dry this year... It's gonna be a tough summer.

We possibly will go 1200 klms. We don't know yet if we tow our medium size caravan or drive our toyota aurion which is a V-6 engine 200 kilowatt output front wheel drive which has the exact same engine as a toyota kluger but the kluger weighs as much as a modern broken-terrain designed tank and handles the same as that.And it will be be 1200 klms each way,not the total entire distance .

@obladie 1200km's each way... Who is incharge of the map? Or will you use a GPS?
I mean, if you make a wrong turn in Australia, you could easily add another 100 km to the journey!
And there is nothing worse, than fighting about a left turn you should have made 30 km ago.
Driving without a caravan, would be faster, but also take away some comfort on the trip.

But not my Obladie, him and his missus wants an adventure. They wanna go the Dundee style.
No adventure without a little danger. They are gonna take that Toyota on a 1200 km, cross country, Bunyip site seeing trip.
Another nudge in their bucket list.
No scorpions, snakes, spiders or Platypus are gonna stop their deeds, of going cross country in the Australian bush.
