Hello everyone, You um... Probably have seen me somewhere right?.. Yeah, maybe- yes, bcuz i was in the top 3 studies for a while.. Well, as you might know, i've joined lichess 9 months ago, And through this journey, I have met different kinds of people. The good ones who give me advice, the ones who chat and chill, and the ones-- that make me think im not worthy of playing. So,i made this forum for all those who never believed in me.. Hope you're in for a short story..
December 24, Eve of Christmas and the day that changed my passion. I got really interested into this game called "chess"
and at the moment i didnt know anything about it and then went from that to knowing over 65% of it right now. I made an account in this website called Lichess. At first, it was all new-- On Christmas i played my first game of chess with a stranger, wasnt too good as i remember it. Days went through, made my first acheivement, went from 900 to 1100 elo! I was soo happy that time, later on i got addicted, played it 24/7 and people started losing hope in me as i would just struggle myself just to lose games instead of winning them. I brang it down a littile, Later 1200, 1300, and finally-- 1400! The most recent achievement i achieved.
To all the people who just discouraged me by telling that i would never reach this milestone, all i have to say is... You can always achieve your dreams, if you believe in yourself. My goal is to reach 2000- then a GM And nobody will stop me no matter what. Sorry for writing an entire essay, just wanted to express some feelings.. Peace out ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

Bro why did you block me? Iv'e never texted you or anything...
Your progress since December is excellent and you have a love for the game. Are you just playing a lot and analyzing games or have a special study method? I also started in December. Do you just play online or doing local chess club tournaments? Enjoy the journey
