How extraordinarily perceptive of you.
Ok I am going to stop pointing this out.
I personally prefer typing but I ometimes write stuff down too, like really personal stuff.
My opinion.

If you are lazy use Microsoft Word, not lazy use physical diary but I use physical diary
Hand written Diary pros:
Practice your handwriting. (And months/years later you can go back and see how it have improved)
Become faster with writing on paper.
Better way to learn and remember spellings. (As opposed to using computers autocorrect)
Easier to bring your dairy book with you on trips and vacation.
You are more likely to reread an old dairy in a book, rather than reading a file on a computer.
If you keep writing, and accumulate several books over a span of years, they look nicely on your bookshelf.
Computer Diary pros:
Easier to protect your diary from damage, by creating copies stored on a USB.
Easier to correct grammatical errors.
Easier to rephrase your words, if you find a better sentence.
Faster to write.
Improve your writing speed on a computer.
You should type iit on Word or other word processing apps and save it on Google Drive. Physical diary can be lost. Both is best as it's best to have a Backup
why would you type it physically it takes more work so for writing one word you'll take like a million years when writing and about a few seconds when typing
Physical diary pros:
-Protects your eyes.
-Helps your spelling
-Add little drawings if you want
-You can bury it like a time capsule
-If you use the internet they might track you
Computer diary pros:
-I feel like it's easier to type than to write
-Most of the time it can't get lost
