Setting engine preferenecs that keep reverting to default.

Every time I go into Analysis Board, I set the engine preferences, and every time I leave the page and go back into Analysis Board the preferences have reverted to default. I set it to infinite analysis and I turn off the best move arrow. I also change the RAM from 16MB to 32MB. When I leave the page and open a new game to analyse, all those changes have reverted. Why is this happening?
