It's not safe better you throw it away, there can be a small camera and mic, where they can see and hear everything you do, so I say you should throw that coin out of that window!

It’s probably fine. Someone dropped it, didn’t they? That makes the coin nearly nobody’s, so picking it up would just be giving it a new master.

Just study it. drop it on the floor, hard, then take a coin from your wallet, drop it the same. if it sounds the same, not dangerous.
