Prove that 0 exists

If 0 didn't exist I guess 100 would be the same as 1.

0 is a number because it's the number of inexsistance. Does that make sense?

Put a cookie in front of you. Ask yourself the question how many cookies you have in front of you. (If you'll come up with the answer 'one': Good!)

Now take the cookie and eat it. And then ask yourself the same question again.

There you have it. You've just done the subtraction of 1 - 1 in a real life application and - hopefully! - come up with the number that you so urgently want to prove it exists.

I think the confusion arises when you say 0 IS nothing. A more appropriate phrase would be 0 REPRESENTS nothing. Let's say you have no candies (you have nothing). It can be represented as saying you have 0 cookies. 0 isn't nothing, it is a placeholder for nothing because you can't have nothing.

I guess Young Sheldon is wrong sometimes (don't act like you didn't steal that word for word from Season 6 Episode 4).
