@kiritolemon Now I get it. It's probably an enigma machine cipher. It is military encryption, so I don't know how it helps. Can't find rotors or other parameters. Also make your work public please. You said you weren't after the money.

She gets a lot of attention so there are a lot of comments to sort through...

Also, @kiritolemon had long conversations where it is confirmed that it is indeed YGNR (plus Y ou G et N o R est). He/she said he had a super high IQ, did like 5 sports... ridiculous stuff. Said all steps should be able to be solved in 2 hours. @kiritolemon may have been trying to push us away from the solution. It probably is a barcode puzzle, where looking at it at an angle reveals a message. Look up barcode puzzle on youtube and the third or fourth video is what I mean.

The clue was "The primary thing to see is that there are many factors which go into whether you'll solve it". This suggests primary decomposition, which yields factorizations into the first to 26th prime. Converting the numbers to letters, and rearranging the letters, you get the message:
"have fun with the one next week".
