chess.com is popular because it started a few years before lichess
@MistakeCorrect so why is chess.com more popular? Beacuse they promote themselves more, beacuse they do events....which lichess isnt doing it often. So stop trashtalking chess.com so much and rather focus on Lichess.
Lichess.org Is good the análisis Is unlimited AND have all free.

I mean people prefer the site or thing they used longer. If you had been using chess.com for 5 years and lichess for 1 year, you would probably prefer using chess.com. Plus people usually find reasons based on their perspective. If I like chess.com, I might also find weakness that lichess might have. So in the end, if we're posting this on lichess, people are most likely to agree that lichess is better, but if we discuss this on chess.com, most people are going to like chess.com, mainly because they're used to the site.
+ you sure understand, that chess.com staff are paid? Again, that is why they add ads and memeberships.
I like Lichess best. It is free and it doesn't have any ads. Plus, it has unlimited computer analysis.
