I would like to disagree on a few points. I love playing on lichess, it is just so much smoother. But I like chess.com puzzles, videos and other learning resources much better, they are more readily available, and more in depth. I like the support for bughouse on chess.com. I find it a bit ridiculous at times though, especially that you cannot even mention lichess on the website... like what? anyways I think both have their place. 100 dollars for literally close to infinite chess resources, or at least more than you could possibly use in a year, I think is worth it.

I play in Chess.com since 2018, just dicovered Lichess a few months ago and I think Lichess is much better. I'm so glad to be here.

I prefer Lichess is better.
It is completely free on Lichess.
Although there are interesting variants on Chess.com, for getting the gold membership is not free.
You can only analyze one game per day day but on Lichess, you just have to make your account and do whatever you want to do on Lichess.
Remember, Lichess is a completely free chess website where you can spend your time on anything.

It's not so ridiculous to ask here. When asked on Chess.com, quite a few people say Lichess. Then the topic gets locked and the word Lichess censored because it's against the rules there to mention competitor sites. It's telling when one site tries to silence competition and the other doesn't.

Individual playing, analysing and studies is better on lichess. Learning stuff, correspondence games, team matches are better on chess.com.
