Hyper Easy - all variants lichess bot running in your browser

Log into lichess with an account that has played no games yet, or with an existing bot account, then visit

hypereasy.herokuapp.com/

Log into the app using oauth, then click on "Request upgrade to bot" if necessary.

From then on, while you are logged into the app, your bot will accept challenges and play games of all lichess variants using multi variant Stockfish WASM as an engine ( github.com/niklasf/stockfish.wasm/tree/multi-variant ).

Well, ezchess can do something like this, but it can only play its own supported variants, which is standard and atomic.

I compiled lichess's Scalachess library to Javascript and Hyper Easy makes use of this ( github.com/hyperbotauthor/scalachess ).
@Hagaloo

no, using a bot is not cheating

if you mean oauth, then lichess allows creating oauth apps : lichess.org/account/oauth/app

everything is perfectly legitimate here, the token is only good for playing bot games ( you can see the scopes when authorizing ), so it cannot do any harm to your account

if you still worry about your token, then register a separate account for trying it out
@MadNutella

yes, absolutely, you just visit a page, approve oauth form for bot scopes and your bot is up ( as long as you keep the page open )

ezchess became popular with this method, but it cannot play variants, my improvement over ezchess is using Scalachess
So it is necessary to have the computer all the time or is it running on your server or something? (I dont know anything about this kind of stuff so sorry about my noob question.
