because last week Ms. Hayes gave a contest on remembering digits of pi and i sold. Lucas and Ojas tied. They're the only 8th grade math kids, and the rest are in 6th or 5th math. i'm 6th.

I saw that number pop up on calculators a bazillion times. I'd have to be grossly inattentive to not have it memorized.

The calculators round that 4 in the end
because the next digits after 4 is 5, but they rounded that 4 up to actually that 4 is an 3 (by the way i know 51 digits )

I could ask Wolfram Alpha for a thousand digits, but I don't think I need that many. :-)

I think an organic, individualized approach is always best, so I'd always would advise to shed any conceptions or sort of training tools, after they've been reasonably mastered. I am "sort of" a memory expert, having an absolutely, I mean I don't mean to be weird but I don't know how else to say it; perfect for eidetic; which..... But I mean it may sound strange but it seems strange to me to forget.. I mean it seems alien..

But yeah I come in peace. But I do also remember, in any time it was ever spoken to me, any verbal, I just remember. If it was spoken to me, it's in there, 100%. I have perfect and clear access to it; and it just doesn't seem to me to be any other way or does or could any other way seem normal.

Buuut, I am only this way for one thing; and not for numbers, etc.; but I'm gradually improving and it certainly feels wonderful. For instance I'm pretty strong on those 30 digits, and that is much much much easier than it's ever been. So that's just, on a personal level comforting and happy, etc.

I also sort of joking, that, there's only a couple of things to remember; such as (it's 3846 not 3468, and it's 3279, not 2379 -- and actually while this might seem amusing, one-off; I actually believe it's fairly important. Small corrections, and remember the corrections, in order to get the exact, perfect image (of the number.) From a poker player's mind, it's always going to seem '2379' first. And then correcting, and not having a residual bias, etc. things like that.
