I hope that President Trump will save us all those pesky digits by declaring pi to equal the integer 3, for purposes of efficiency.
I'm surprised and disappointed that Church Norris didn't already get that done for us, given his overall and fabled magnificence.
No doubt if President Trump does that, and whips pi into shape for us, some on the Left will complain and then start lecturing us about "the science." "Ooooh," they'll say, "pi is irrational ... it's the science." Yada yada.
Interestingly, if he tried that, President Trump would not be the first to declare (albeit by implication) a "legal" version of pi. Some state legislator once tried it, too, and even got a favorable response from (of course) a "Committee on Education."
I believe the state was Indiana, and it happened a few years before the turn of the century in 1900 (the year, not the time). Of course, some professor had to step in and spoil the fun. I'm not sure if he was a Canadian, but you know how some professors are: ever-so-picky!
MPSA! Make Pi Simple Again!
At the very least, state legislatures should consider declaring it to be a rational number -- perhaps 22/7, which is easy to remember and has the lucky number "7" for its denominator. Do it for the children! I think children should be studying the Sicilian defense, rather than memorizing 100 digits of pi.
Edit: I just remembered that President Trump's son, Baron, is reportedly very, very good at math. So, my hopes just dropped for getting pi perfected any time soon. We're probably stuck with all those digits. Why did President Trump's children all have to be so bright?
