Do you think the lichess community is toxic?

In general,no.a few people are the root of toxicity in lichess.interestingly the toxic ones always seem to have very few games of chess in their profiles.

I have had two people come at me for a question I asked and it was outrageous. I don't think it's enough to go by, and have an idea. The site itself is wonderful, absolutely great but some people here do think the whole world wags in their little bubbles, they project their issues and it's not nice to be the target of highly rated people with absolutely severe issues when you're a rookie who wants to ask a question.
Any crowd that's large enough has these people in it and because there are very competitive people here, it might slant to higher levels than average here but it is ugly when it happens. Only saying that because some people seem to think being a jerk is actually something cool. Einstein was cool. Sweet is cool and sweet, they are not. The people who do that should just pound their own chests if they must and not others' mood.
