I don't believe that police are unduly abusive towards women and gay people, so I think your argument string is not relevant.
Ypu also believe that the police is not unduly abusive towards Black people hence I think your objection is not relevant.

IMO, police aren't centralized to a degree that would facilitate systemic racism.

I never said that. I implied that police ARE unduly abusive towards black people, but not necessarily because of the color of their skin, but because of many other factors, including but not limited to wealth, education, etc.
The whole point I'm trying to make here is that skin color does not dictate whether or not you commit a crime. Criminal behavior is a signal of many things, but melanin is not one of them. It just so happens that black people are more impoverished on average compared to Jewish, Indian, Asian, White people.

at the end of the day, the police in the US are well-known to be extremely racist and are also known to beat their wives on a massive level. among other things. they also are known to use military-type technology to violently crush dissent. you can continue planning techniques and methods for trying to convince people to give them more money, and so on, if you wish. you will find fewer and fewer allies as time goes on because you are swimming against the facts here to an astounding degree. anyway ya i'll leave you to it

@polylogarithmique That might be the least informative "news" article I've ever seen. It's not exactly shocking that an organization that employs roughly 45000 people would have to discipline its members for improper use of social media. I also don't see anything to suggest systemic racism-- individuals making offensive comments and being reprimanded isn't systemic racism.
The headline might as well have read "Met Police HR Department responds to various social media use issues on a case-by-case basis".
I also like how the headline makes it look like there are no punishments for any violations. The article literally lists the punishments, including warnings and firings.
Any article that demands justice while simultaneously demanding that anonymous persons should be fired for vaguely defined crimes seems hypocritical to me.
