Alternate history...what if ...?

Same as saying what if my mother never met my father.
Honestly @jaychamp all this existence stuff has been long sorted out (Cogito, ergo sum is a Latin philosophical proposition by René Descartes usually translated into English as "I think, therefore I am".)
More correctly, In order for there to be a doubt (about our existence) there has to be an entity in existence to express that doubt. All the rest follows by logic.
Well @bunyip then there would be no you, that is pretty simple to answer.
Wait, @chessspy1, so you're saying that existence itself inherently creates the doubt of existence? If existence in general is doubted by itself, it no longer can, thus creating a paradox of infinitely questioning the existence of everything. I, therefore, propose that non-existence itself may exist as a state of being, negating the ability to question one's existence, reconciling this seeming contradiction you've proposed.
No @mewtwo204 Not at all. I thought I made myself very clear, (so there may be something in what you say above (if there is in fact an 'above' at all))
What I said is that we do exist and it is the possibility of doubting that proves it.
