A Poem on Friendship

Poem (500 words):
Friendship
Though there is gold up in the mountains,
Lovely pearls in the sea,
They are not as wonderful,
As our friendship is to us!

While writing this poem,
We compose and BOOM!
At last put together and see,
How strong friendship can be!

We have a reason to cheer,
All the moments are so rare,
With friends, life is so meaningful
True friends are really wonderful.

We may get a thousand pieces of gold,
We may get a horse of silver,
But nothing is as precious,
As our friendship is to us!

Days may pass,
Months may go,
Years may roll,
Decades may flow,
But we will never forget the friendship,
We shared!

Nothing can push our friendship apart
even the greatest of enemies
or even the strongest of winds
can make us hate each other.

Our friendship is stronger than an iron wall,
Stronger than the strongest men,
Nothing is stronger than our friendship,
Nothing is stronger than us hand-in-hand.

We may have fought,
We may have argued,
But that just makes our friendship more precious!

Imagine the woods,
Without a tree,
Imagine the rivers,
Without the sea,
Imagine us,
Without without each other,
Imagine how lost,
We would be!

A best friend is like a star that glows,
Or maybe a sea that gently flows,
It is like a treasure,
That you can store forever and ever.

Friendship heals,
Friendship trusts,
Friendship reads,
And best of all it loves.

If you feel friendless,
You should keep in mind,
You should get a friendship that is endless.

A best and true friend is more than one in a billion,
You can only find and trust one in a zillion.
A good friendship is something that will never end,
It is like a straight line that will never bend.

So, my friend,
This friendship day,
Let us remember with joy,
Let us celebrate our friendship with joy!

Friendship is kind,
It come and goes and bind.
And if we’re lucky enough we’ll see,
The true work of friendship, be!

We will never forget the moments,
We will remember the iron grip of friendship,
That has kept us close for so long!

But like every coin has two sides,
Friendship has two sides as well,
One good and one bad.
Friendship does not last forever,
Keep in mind wherever.

There might be someday,
Where friendship goes away.
We might even argue,
We might even throw over the barbecue.

It’s all a matter of time,
We can’t even decide.
Someday friendship reduces to slime,
By no better than oblige.

One day one of us will say,
“I don’t want to be friends with you.”
And oh, how the hearts will break,
All the things too.

When one of us leaves, we think
"My friend, we used to call you this way,
Now we cannot meet everyday!"
We still remember all the sweet moments we shared,
All worth to be cared!

Once you lose trust,
It is hard to gain again,
As you must,
Get another that you can trust.

As the four of us conclude the poem,
We feel a sense of happiness,
That is so powerful, joyous and happy,
That the world feels us.

The most unexpected friendships are the best ones!!! : )

We just got the idea to make a poem on our friendship, since all four of us are young poetesses. :)
