Why not draw? King and Knight versus King and Knight without any pawns

No decent player will use a loophole in rules to win. But decent players are rare online (as voters show), and lichess promotes indecent play.
I think knight vs knight is dead draw enough that a mate will never ever happen on accident, not even in ultrabullet (other than Rook vs Rook, where someone can still lose their rook from a skew). Lichess SHOULD draw this.
@Turris66 give checks all over the place. You have nothing to lose just move your knight anywhere you like through premoves. You can fork his knight and king too.
@kilgor We aren't talking about OTB chess here, it's online chess. There is no arbiter. Feel free to code one, I doubt it would be an easy thing to do, otherwise it would have been done already.
@Vertonghen easier said than done ... what if your opponent is faster than you and always gets to make premoves?

I consider this very unsportsmanlike behaviour and it's a bannable offense in most of the teams I'm in. (especially The-Big-Greek-Aficionados)
@Cedur216 Lichess can do nothing to stop those unsportsmanlike people. After all if you were short on time it’s should be your own fault. Before you start the game you and your opponent both knew the rules and losing on time is what happens. Maybe his opponent could have won more material earlier in the game if he thought longer, but sometimes you have to sacrifice good moves to save time, so this subject is a grey area.
Just play increment, it solves KN vs. KN but also KR vs. KR and KQRBNP vs. KP.
All FIDE competitions are with increment.
Only here at lichess it seems as if we still are in the century of analog clocks.
@CM Sarg0n that's a study-like combination, not a situation where all pieces are somewhere in the center and one player does nothing but flag the other. If the engine finds there's no forced mate, it's a dead draw.
I guess most lichess users now a whose who russians call малолетние долбоёбы (don't know English equivalent). Chess qualification and age do not matter, they can be rather old chess masters or even grandmasters. They seriously think that fast mouseclicking is an important chess skill.
