Same here since iOS15 (both iphone and ipad app) : cannot play a single move

Go to App stores and click on profile pic, see upadates and click on update all. It should work Use Deleting and Reinstallation of the App .
I had the same problem after updating to iOS 15 (app works, but no matches connected). Solved by deleting the app and install again.
I just upgraded my phone to iPhone 13 and IOS 15 and no longer match on my phone app also.
Update: deleted the app, re-installed. I wonder if when it restored from cloud it restored a version not compatible with IOS15, but deleting and reinstalling loads the newer version.
