new folding in studies on mobile, sorting wrong?

This is from the analysis board but still it's pretty strange looking on mobile

Yep, this is definitely bad on mobile...

indeed, an over-aggressive simplification to some of the code has caused this.

allow us some time to fully test the fix (make sure we don't inadvertently break anything else). we will deploy in about 8 hours time (6:00am UTC).

I know this is probably being worked on, I don't want to stress anyone out, just illustrate my point a bit better:

From a UX point of view this is my problem:

Here we see a variation hidden,

this is a cool idea but if we expand it, the variation doesn't show up at the place where we expect it, namely at the plus button.
It showes up at the furthest possible position from that actually, at the bottom of the page, which is what makes it confusing to look at in my opinion.

This is why it might be an improvement to have the variations above the main line.

Just a thought, thanks for all the work on this page!

@schlawg do we need to open an issue on GitHub or is it already handled by devs ?

it's done. if you've still got suggestions, create an issue or post them here. maybe in a new thread without all the screenshots to scroll through. ;p

was this purely about the mobile version, or does it overlap or interact with some of the computer version.
Is it done for the computer version?
