we can call it a separate account.

You can have multiple accounts as long as you have a good reason for the different accounts: for example, BOT accounts and blindfolded accounts are both valid.
Ban evasion is also not allowed, which should be pretty obvious.

You could have 4 accounts. A regular account, a speedrun account, a blindfold account and a Bot of course. However the main reason many people create more than one account is because of farming, or rating manipulation (e.g sandbagging or artificial high rating)

You agree not to create multiple accounts when you sign up.
However, we make few exceptions for valid use-cases, e.g. as already mentioned, BOT account, blindfold account, etc.
What happens when you get caught violating the rules will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Found a few members who bluntly described their multiple accounts
which is a violation of Lichess Policy.

So wanted a clarification for the rules are mandatory
yet there are too many cases to dwell upon.
