Dear Sir (Moderators),

I am witnessing that players are using chess engines & bots for winning the games against honest players and lichess is unable to detect them and banned them from playing. People are using 10 to 15 different id for their play. If u banned one id they create another and they start annoying the good players with engine stuff play. Don't u say us that please report for cheat this is isn't working at all because u don't take action and reply also. This cheater players are very making mockery of lichess system I mean loopholes of lichess. Many videos are available on youtube that shows how this cheater players are making fun of lichess & honest chess players. Sir you need to developed some system to avoid this thing. The player who are using engine will do 1 or 2 blunders when they are up because they are up in game and lichess can't detect them. First they will play moves of their own then engine comes in demolished the opponent player. Really really bad thing. Please go to youtube site and check the links. Do something please....! is there any way out to stop this?

Many videos are available on youtube that shows how this cheater players are making fun of lichess & honest chess players.

i have seen such videos before. usually, either the account shown in the video is marked or closed, or they are playing anonymous. guess why.

The player who are using engine will do 1 or 2 blunders when they are up because they are up in game and lichess can't detect them.

funny, i have seen many players marked despite the 1 or 2 blunders.

yes: stop thinking about it. i think you are (at least partially) seeing ghosts. once you are in the mindset that cheaters never get marked, you will see an engine behind every single one of your losses.

The cheaters mostly use engines of other databases and for no reason they intentionally make changes in codes like some artificial increasers and decreases of rating. But I feel lichess is going to extend its security.

Lichess does a good job of patrolling all of the games, but many slip through the net before they get caught.
Carlsen said in an interview that he only plays bullet online because of engine cheating.
Top grandmasters have played blitz and rapid online, but with 3 camera's and with screen sharing to prevent cheating.
FIDE accepts online play for FIDE rated events, but only if a FIDE arbiter is present at the locations of both players.
Indeed caught players can make new accounts from new email addresses and/or from new IP addresses.
This could be mitigated by requesting real name and FIDE ID to open an account, but that would give up privacy.
Some players like to practice surprise openings in relative anonimity

@glbert it's not that every player is using chess engine but many players are using it which is needed to be tracked and banned. Chess should be clean and fair from this but I don't know what's your logic behind it.

there are two theories i have:

wolf009 is an absolute genius at detecting cheats, he just knows them. he cannot tell how or why, he's just "witnessing" them. the lichess mod team sucks on the other hand, they have no idea what they are doing, it's their first day on the job. this is why wolf009 sees all those cheaters and nothing is happening about it.
the lichess mod team is reasonable at detecting cheats, but wolf009 has no idea how to spot one. this is why wolf009 sees uncaught cheaters everywhere.

tpr, i am not debating the existence of holes. i am arguing that neither wolf009 nor in fact you (nor obviously i) have any idea where those holes are. so when i hear some guy ranting about seeing a new hole all the time, i call bullshit.

Agree somewhat with your point of view. Privacy should not hamper other players who are playing honestly on lichess platform. Always love playing chess on lichess den chess.com but I think we must act now before it's too late....!

If you require help in suggestion we can but we aren't technician dat be able to solve this. There might be some sort of way to stop this wrong thing...! My good wishes to you and moderators to find suitable way out.....!
