Maybe someone reported you,and you get banned
No, you can't. See whom you were talking with. There are a lot of trolls here who aren't interested in chess at all, but interested in reporting other players. Lichess bots and mods like it and ban after getting a certain number of reports and even thanks trolls for what they do. This is disgusting but nothing can be done about it. Don't feed trolls.
Rip
you're talking nonsense fortrak. There are erroneus timeouts every now and then but it's not at the base of mass-reporting.
anyway @lolamchan you know yourself how you acted so I hope you can judge yourself if you acted rudely or not. Also you don't get perma-chatbanned just from a few timeouts (I already had two, both unjustified). You can also read lichess.org/page/chat-etiquette
@Cedur216 Yeah i read that and i think i didn't violate any of them. At the time i got timed out, I was just talking about exam with another guy.
was it in a team chat, or a tournament created by another player? lichess users (not moderators) can time you out there
#1 Depends. Mod timeouts are generally legit from what I've seen... however, if you are playing in a tournament run by some user, the creator of the tournament has moderation privileges within that tournament, so you can be timed out by them, sometimes without reason.
#3 Not sure what to say to this, other than it's simply not true
Oh, it was in a tournament. Never mind then :P. Thanks for all of you guys' reply.
