If chess . com can show opening name during games why not Lichess?

It's a wonderful feature that helps you become opening literate with minimal effort.
Please bring this feature back!

Again........ Please don't raise a bug if you aren't fully clear about it......
Go to the games of your profile and below each block , on the bottom left , in bold letters , opening is mentioned......
Hope you understand!🙂

#1 There's no reason to be able to see the opening name while playing... that's information you wouldn't be given in real life. I have no idea why chess.com does it, and personally believe that they shouldn't.

Again, please read the title of the post you are responding to.
In case title's aren't showing for you I'll repeat it again with two words capitalized for emphasis.

@Linspiring as a mod said, say the opening is a trap. It will give hints that it is a trap which will affect the gameplay. Just click on @VedanthS's link and learn.

@TCF_Namelecc
Not only is there a very good reason to show the names but I just spelled it out for you. Like, #2 let me repeat it for you in case your browser isn't showing posts properly.
It's to learn the opening names with minimal effort! Unless you have a photographic memory like rainman we all could use a little assistance in this regard. There's lots of openings in chess you know.

To directly answer the thread's question:

Lichess, of course, can show the opening name during the game. It simply chooses not to, which is quite clearly the correct decision. During a game is not the time to be helping players learn. A game is where you demonstrate what you have learned. Between games is where you should be studying.
