It should be an easier way to talk about a specific puzzle.
One idea that occurs to mind is that every puzzle would have a clickable link to a forum page of its own.
For example, in this puzzle, I was "puzzled" by the fact that the last move was not "bishop takes".
Puzzle #bYkQu
But to talk about it, I needed to create this thread and link to it.

I agree that once the puzzle is solved a commentary section should become visible. Instead, there is a link to the game analysis room. You are mistaken that you need to create a thread here. If you go to the game and play b4xc3, d4xe2, you will the link to the game analysis will become unhidden and you should on the left see my recent comment. However, these comments aren't visible in the lichess app. I think the comments section should open up on the game puzzle page. I personally think they didn't like us leaving comments about puzzles since they here running the show are generally evil sorts.

People can still go on the game link after solving the puzzle and discuss it. Though this doesn't seem to happen as much as it used to in V1.

It is probably happening as much as it used to, but those older puzzles were old enough that some comments had time to accumulate. This is my hypothesis for why we really got the new batch of puzzles (to truncate communication about puzzles, since who cares now about those since they aren't in any ques). This is the only explanation for the removal of features like recall about what puzzle you are on and the ratings chart. In open source the software isn't supposed to be able to get worse.

If puzzles are for learning then I should be able to offer a solution I think is better so someone can point out why I'm wrong.

That would be fun, but you have to let the player solve the puzzle first or he will look for the answer in the individual puzzle thread.
