Your favorite part in chess

"I love all positions. Give me a difficult positional game, I'll play it. Give me a bad position, I'll defend it. Openings, endgames, complicated positions, and dull, drawn positions, I love them all and will give my best efforts. But totally winning positions I cannot stand." Jan Hein Donner
My favourite part in chess is when I mate the opponent
EDIT: Had forgot to write 'I' earlier
All the chess parts (opening, middlegame, endgame) are my favourite :D
@Fmuror02 -- Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual is indeed the best, but it's daunting, especially for players under 2000. A few other excellent endgame books are Silman's Complete Endgame Course, 100 Endgames You Must Know by Jesus de la Villa, and Chess Endgame Training by Bernd Rosen. Good luck!
I didn't read the 2nd part of the question in #1
