My reasons are

Better server so you don't loss on time in blitz. (chess.com has real slow server delaying the moves)
Better and faster post game analysis. Features like free, arrows of diff thickness, centipawn loss
Better analytics of all your games through great statistical tools
What i miss?
1- Better teaching of chess( lesson sequence is best for beginners and good for intermediate)
2- Articles in dashboard which increase your understanding of chess
3- Puzzle rush ( my performance increased as more and more puzzle i solve puzzles)

Lichess is truly free. To me this makes all other comparisons irrelevant. This site is run by the community of chess enthusiasts, and driven by our passion for the game. Open-source, no premium only features, no user data selling, no company shareholders trying to maximize their profit. Just chess
*****.com is the opposite. A site that is privately run, and driven by monetary gain. LOTS of personal user data selling, freemium, constantly trying to get some more bucks.
So there you go: Lichess is love, chess.com is just another company

I prefer Lichess because I get lag on chess.com and my blitz rating is lower on chess.com 8)

I prefer lichess vs chess.com becasue it has simple interface fully focused on game, faster, all features free.
I only miss statistics by category for puzzles.

Chess.com's technology is inferior. It fills up your browser's cache to the point where your computer eventually freezes up. The chat rooms on chess.com have a lot of vulgar people. If a hacker figures out ways to create infinite accounts for the purpose of spamming chats, the mods on chess.com cannot figure out how to get rid of him. He runs wild yet you'll get banned for 24 hours for the use of ONE "naughty" word. I quit chess.com. In every way I can think of, it's just substandard.

wtf is four person chess? does it mean i can blame losing on my dumb-*ss partner? chess.com has many many many many more players, so it's better. unless you don't want to spend the $100 or whatever/year for that wonderful privilege of belonging to chess.com.................

More players and Puzzle Rush are the only two things chess.com has over Lichess. And four-player chess is an absolute joke. I'm glad they haven't implemented here.
