Real question.
Is it because of tournament and rank you have to reach to be titled ? So, a WGM is lower than a GM ? Very curious to my point of view because all titled women are very strong.

All titled people are very strong, but to be a GM you need a higher rating than to be a WGM. However, any woman can become a GM (without the W) as long as they rate high enough and meet the same requirements as men (GM Hou Yifan is an example).
As to why the titles exist it is to have an incentive to woman to participate in a very male dominated environment.

Women chess players are stronger than you think
Women chess players are stronger than you think
WGM still stronger than us so still with W or without GM is GM! when I play a titled player I just see that I'm playing very strong player not there gender :)

I think that gender chess is just sexism, plain and simple. I realized this is a recurring topic, there are many threads about it but no argument pro gender separation in chess seems to be sensible enough to me, let alone persuading.

@thomassowell123 , men are not better than women in every field. In service industry, women are better than men, e.g doctors, nurses, teachers, receptionist.

In competitive sports and games, men are much better than women, in both physical and mental sports.

@drmrboss Speaking some Truth. God forbid we ever truly acknowledge the difference between sexes. Women have never had the same kind of environmental pressures on them to compete as such an insanely high level. Instead these pressures encouraged social evolution. Like psychopathy with a smile.

@thomassowell123 damn you're really sexist. How do X and Y chromosomes dictate how well you play chess. That biology argument sounds stupid. It is stupid.

^ This guy's post is a perfect example of someone being good at chess yet not being very smart. I can't imagine having my perspective so narrow. It's mind blowing.
