But it prevents misclicks, mouse slips, and blunders.
Yes, that is the upside of this. Just saying for example a 10+0 game, you have 10 seconds in a time scramble its not good. I guess if you play with increment (15+10, 30+20, even maybe 10+5) it's fine

"a 10+0 game, you have 10 seconds in a time scramble its not good"
- You can disable it during a game.
"a 10+0 game, you have 10 seconds in a time scramble its not good"
* You can disable it during a game.

A miss-click (which happens pretty fast on a small Phone) is something differten than a miss-move.
Not really. Mis-click is your mistake just as much not noticing your queen is being threatened. Making moves you intended to make is part of you online chess skill. You cannot do it well enough on phone then must play with some other device where misclick can be avoided.

Mouse-skills are a part of online Chess. Clocks are a part of Chess-with-clocks. Hand-skills are a part of offline Chess. The point of every competition is to win.

I tend to agree for very obvious mouse slips. And as IM Andras Toth has pointed out in some videos, not granting them would simply ruin that game, and usually ends your learning experience right there. And we are here to play chess I guess, not to speculate on stupid mouse slips.
I agree with that, especially in rapid and slower... for blitz and especially bullet, it's just part of the game, I think.
But people abuse it all the time to cover up after simple blunders, so I disabled it completely....

what do you mean with resign?
Der Hinweis soll dir wohl sagen, bevor du dich länger über einen falschen Klick mit der Maus und über eine abgelehnte Bitte um Zugzurücknahme ärgerst, gib die Partie lieber verloren (resign), das schont einfach die Nerven.

OK, danke, Schiffskoch
Man is made of small imperfections. One better should learn to live with them, accept them.
If you you stumble on the road, you do not ask road to "take it back", or do you? If you are able to learn, you start to look better ahead of your steps.

Misclicks are part of online chess, just like illegal moves are part of OTB chess! You can’t make illegal moves in online chess, but you can misclick. I’ve lost many games due to misclicks and also won some because of them, it tends to even out eventually. For rated games, I disabled takebacks. Even big names like Hikaru and others have lost to misclicks while playing online. It’s simply part of the online game.
