What is the general consensus - lose points or no points - still get a loss?

If you don‘t move in a tournament game, you‘ll lose. Did you mean that?
Tournament game is mostly all I play .- less time shifters. Losing is fine but minus -15 points when no move was made does not make sense. Sometimes distractions occur.
You can withdraw before the tournament starts and you can take a break or leave the tournament between games. All without any penalty. If you're already in a game and fail to move, i.m.o. it's right that you lose that game.
Sure lose the game but minus 15 points? It is in bullet/ hyper chess - no big deal - just wondering about the point system. I don’t play for a rating but trying to figure out the logic behind the point system. Win for no move +15 but win by actually playing against the same rated player + 5?
Sometimes strong players disconnect, and you earn a lot of rating for that :)
I am a living example of that , yesterday I played in three check shield , after losing 2 games due to net lag I leave the arena without pausing , then I turn off my net connection .... After sometimes later when I came back I see I lost another game without moving ... Yesterday I lost total 30 points due to net lag .... Here is the game link which I don't know I am playing ...
I know how that feels...

Totally disgusting feeling first lost 2 games due to net lag , Then I lose a game which I don't know I am playing .... So frustrating 😢😢😢😢😢
That's why you should always pause the tournament before leaving the tournament .... Don't give away free points like me
