I think you're wasting more time than me over being hypocritical with what happened with the mods.
A mod closed your blog because it contained an incitement to accuse people of cheating. You had nothing better to do than delete his message and reopen it. (Hopefully the devs will fix this eventually)
Later he closed it again, at a stage where nothing constructive was happening anyway, just people ganging up on me (it wasn't even worth reacting). In his second message, the mod explicitly warned you that overriding this decision would lead to harsher action, and that you could only contest this decision through appeal. Well, you obviously weren't impressed by that yellow card, now congratulations on getting the red card.
By the way I'm not even sure if what you said is technically possible.
Let me be clear once and for all — the blog and discussion were deleted by me. I genuinely wish I had screen-recorded it so I wouldn’t have to repeat this again and again. But to be honest, I don’t need to prove anything to you. You can believe whatever suits your storyline — I’ve moved on.
As for the mod’s comment: yes, I removed it, but only after having a calm and respectful conversation with him in private where he explicitly said that what I encouraged (i.e., discussing cheating with someone you personally know and trust) was not a ToS violation. That exchange ended amicably. The idea that I somehow received a “red card” or got forcefully shut down is simply false.
You also keep saying I’m wasting time here — but unlike you, I’m actually trying to build something here on Lichess. A community. Maybe even a personal brand, if you want to call it that. And it seems to be resonating — I’ve had more support and thoughtful responses than hate, even in that thread, while your comments have mostly been heavily downvoted. And despite constantly saying your time is too valuable to argue online, you still seem laser-focused on hating everything I do.
The funny thing is, you were clearly interested in my content at the beginning. You found out I’m an IM, you commented under my post about identifying cheaters, you clearly saw value in what I was sharing. It’s only after I posted something you didn’t personally agree with that you started twisting narratives and projecting motives.
Yes, I did come to recognise that the title and thumbnail of that blog could mislead people who only glance at it, and that some nuance might be lost — I explicitly acknowledged that in this discussion. That was one of the reasons I chose to delete it, alongside the fact that having to argue with people who refuse to engage in good faith (you being the main example) just wasn’t worth it.
But the story doesn’t end there. I’m working on a new blog about cheating — one that explores similar ideas, but framed in a way that leaves no room for misunderstanding. It will be well within Lichess ToS, it will encourage respectful reflection, and it will aim to spark real conversation.
So yes, feel free to hate on it when it comes out. It’ll boost your ego, and it’ll boost the algorithm reach of my blog. Win-win.
