Why can't I play on the same level as my puzzle rating?

LOL, that would be so cool. My puzzle rating goes up to 2500 sometimes...

you must have a better tactical eye than someone at your level does

My puzzle rating differs by 300points usually . Having huge difference in puzzle rating and rapid/blitz is norm i would be surprised if anyone had similar ratings

As @KMcGeoch points, puzzles only test tactical skills to find a move (and only one, except some checkmates that have two solutions) that wins, but in an actual game you can't think of every move in such terms, so 90-95% of the time is not really that relevant. In games, most of the time there are several moves that keep the current status.

It can even be counterproductive if somehow your brain gets addicted to short-term tactical thinking, neglectic other aspects of the game.

my tactical level is the level of my puzzlerating but chess is not only tactics and chesslevel is about finding the moves in puzzle and non puzzle positions I do not think that you will learn how to develope a winningplan by playing puzzles if all puzzles were positional my puzzlerating could be 1600

Of course seeing a game as a series of puzzles would be a big mistake but I believe practicing the puzzles helped me a lot.

For one, I'm more likely to spot the typical patterns and opportunities for tactical combinations, both mine and my opponent's. And I believe that even after playing for just few months now, I'm able to calculate the variants much better than I used to after playing for ~7 years. Even if (unlike in the puzzles) most of the time the result of the calculation is "OK, it does not really work.", it's still a valuable information.

I think its different for everyone. I know some people who actively do puzzles but their rating is lower then their actual elo! Others have puzzle elo 1800 above regular elo.

It's like saying 1 = 3.

130 is a general statement. My last comment was about outliers... :
