Why am i struggling to convert in winning positions and how to overcome this struggle

Hello guys,
im playing chess for 4 years and played mostly on chess.com but then i discovered lichess and now im playing here more often. Long story short, i had a 10 game winning streak in Rapid but the streak ended because of my incapability to convert the winning position into a winning game.

Here is the game:

Im playing a beatiful game, sacrifing pieces and crushing black. Until move 22 everything is fine but then the drama begins.
What can i do better to convert such positions?

At first glance you allowed queen trade while trying to find a mate. After the qeentrade your comp for the material was gone.
Not a technical problem. Checl the game with the copmuter how a amte was possible. If there is supringsingly no mate, then Qe6 instead of R c4 seems to be ok, the king don't find a save place and you keep the initiative.

@royalblue04 Thank you for answering. During the game i completly missed the queen trade option for black but after the game its always obvious. Chess is hard.

You had tunnel vision, you need always to ask yourself what your opponent can do. But during the game its difficult, thats why we both are low rated :)

Hey don't be too hard on yourself...I have tunnel vision too...Maybe the first step in doing something about it is to realize that you have the problem in the first place...

It is very important to spot the options for the defender. Cause the defender will spot this. He has simply no choice then to play the the queen trade. No long calculation needed for him - if this move don't works nothing could ever help in those situations. And sadly for you - i worked rather simple.

@royalblue04 Yes indeed, i just need to work more on prophylactic play. If i would place my King on b1 earlier, black wouldnt have anything here.
