I played my first game on Lichess ten years ago. It was a short 10-moves game. I am glad that I can play somewhat better now.

My first game on lichess, against stockfish, level 1.

Knew nothing about the game beyond how the pieces moved. What I’d learned was from watching BackyardProfessor videos, which how I found what lichess was as I’d never heard of it.

Puzzles, tactics etc, had never heard of them. So, thanks to lichess for providing such a great platform.
