what is the optimal chess board size for my monitor?

if the board is large, i am playing very slowly and cant see all the pieces at the same time. what do you use?

Like you said, depending on the time control.

For blitz I recommend your smartphone or small chess board.
For classical chess a very big screen or a huge chess board.

if you are playing blitz or bullet I think full like hundred percent click your username in the top right corner then board geometry and 100 that's what I do I am not sure btw. (This is what I do for playing bullet chess In windows )I go to settings then Devices then mouse then change the cursor speed to 14 for bullet chess (this is just a recommendation, not a solution)

Technically this all depends on how far apart your eyes are.... Can you give us some solid measurements?
