For white only 2 openings to chose from:

  1. The London System
  2. The Bishop's Opening

For black only the Philidor's Defence.

learn by reading your first Chess Book ... Capablanca's Best Chess Endings in 60 Complete Games by Irving Chernev . Also logical Chess Move by Move by Irving Chernev & Then Neil Mcdonnel The Art of Logical Thinking In Chess Should Take You a few minutes per game or about six weeks for this task as you should be going through the games with comments & absorbing the Information @a-pie , As far as openings are concerned You can watch you tube chess videos free on basic opening principles and ideas . If you just learn openings don't talk to me evea' hehe' as you need the three books mentioned in the next Six weeks (No more than that !) to get a FIRM beginning FOOTHOLD . Remember Study Play Play Study , It's a healthy ballance of the two that will get you There wherever there is as after your rating starts to rise you will be even more interested than you already are . I guess after checking your Profile are you Interested in Chess or only atomic be cause if it's Atomic you won't be getting any tips by me as I don't know the Rules . Read those three books quickly please thank you then ask me for more to read ok ? @a-pie
