Between 1600-1900
I'd say this is a rough guide based on FIDE ratings
Below 800 = beginner
800-1200 = below average
1200-1600 = average
1600-1800 = club tournament player
1800-2000 = very advanced
2000-2200 = CM, IM, FM level
2200-2400 = Grand master level
2600 -2800 = Magnus Carlsen
2800-3000 = Stockfish or Leela Chess Zero
@TheRider lol and thanks.. which means im good
It depends on you
For example I feel that I need to increase my rating to 2000s(even more)
@TheRider To qualify for GM you have to be at least 2500 FIDE. So 2000-2500 should be CM, IM, FM.
Then 2500-2700 = GM
2700-2800 = Super GM
2800-2900 = Magnus Carlsen
3500 = Stockfish or Leela (their estimated ratings on TCEC, the Top Chess Engine Championship, though it is hard to compare them with FIDE ratings because they don't have any actual human competition and they don't play in official FIDE tournaments.
@drunkenM4ST4 i do not agree with you. I think that under the 1500 therr is a good percentage pf players who are not abel playing chess and just open casually a lichess profile in order to do some match...so i wouldnt take to siriously those percentage
Thanks for the correction buddy!
I doubt I will ever hit 1600 (I'm an old man who came to Chess just a couple of years ago) :p
