what is longest chess game

I had a game a while back where I was winning and my opponent didn't resign so I decided to torture them a bit and stretch the game out as long as possible and to my surprise it was called a draw after 300 moves, so there's your answer.

It's honestly both sad and funny to see someone with a huge advantage draw their game just because it reached 300 moves.
