Why haven't you played any "Rated Games" ? As per your #23 comment, i thought you were a ruthless, merciless, brutal and determined to win player. why have you even lost the games even in casual.

I generally allow them. The only time I don't is if I already had my turn, and it just looks like it's only now my opponent wants a takeback after seeing their blunder.

I was asking people's opinions because I have been badgered with take-backs and people moaning about how I'm unsporting when I don't give them, and I've been wondering whether people thought I was being unfair, as sportsmanship in chess is very important in general, and to me.

I appreciate everyone's opinion on this, except those who are being particularly abrasive, although I won't name names.

I personally think that mouse-slips are not chess and I would feel like I won with luck and not deservedly. And again, in casual, I usually let them have a blunder back or two if they want it because it's not the end of the world.

I take chess pretty seriously and reserve my right to punish people's mistakes but also I don't want to be the reason people feel like this site isn't a fun place to play wherever possible.
