Commenting on my supposed dinner invitations is pure ad hominem (as well as your use of "Trumpian" and most of your sentences since the beginning). Saying an incorrect historical statement is a "blatant lie" is, among other things, a stunning display of ignorance as to the meaning of "lie". Saying that my claim about the origin of the expression was my whole "premise" betrays an absence of logic that counts you out of any rational discussion, since it wasn't used as a premise at all.

It's too bad they don't make the captchas more challenging to screen out the bottom rung of intelligence here, so that one could have a decent discussion in this forum.
