I play 3+0,10+0, and 30+0. @GroovyFoley I would recommend none of those time controls I play.
Why not 3+0 for you: Too fast! I play 3+0 because many say I am good enough at classical with around 1900-2000 rating. You should practice slower chess.
Why not 10+0: still a bit too fast if you are new to chess.
Why not 30+0: no increment.
P.S. Play 15+15 or 15+20 and as you get better, try 15+10, 15+5...but still, the slower they better

@GroovyFoley "I'm just wondering what format would it be best for me to play?"
That would be very hard to answer. "Best for me" isn't an objective goal, let alone a goal anyone but you actually knows what it is.
What is your goal? Have fun? Win a lot? Win a high percentage? Make a living out of chess? Become world champion? Do you prefer moving fast over moving well?

I play classical chess as I am still developing the essential skills. Once you have a high classical rating then I recommend playing faster time controls. @GroovyFoley

I think classical is good because you've got time to work out the moves. Raise yourself slowly.

@Donaldsen I would recomend 30+0 or 20+0, as these are more realistic. 15+15 is just a odd time control. The best, of course, would be 60+0 in my opinion, but we're talking about online chess, so probably 30+0 or 20+0.

Why it's odd? Time increment games are always better, because he can watch the game rather than watch both the game and the clock.

@pointlesswindows I'm not saying that increments are bad, I'm just saying a 15+15 control is weird. I'd say something like 30+15, or 20+10. Like the increment should something like half of the time
