What chess website would you recommend to a beginner?

thechesswebsite.com
aimchess.com
chessable.com
chess.com
youtube.com
twitch.com
lichess.org
chess.org
internetchessclub.com
uscf.com
I am not sure what you really want, but here are a few sources that contain chess content that you may be looking for. Otherwise, there are books you can purchase on Amazon.com or Ebay.com if you are looking for a better deal. For a beginner, I would automatically suggest reading a book on how to play first if you are unable to play chess, or you can even practice on lichess.org under learn in the top left section of your average computer screen. Is this information helpful?

Why should Chess.com be avoided? Cheaters? Bad website in general? Why, Oh, I know why, its because everything is behind a paywall just to even get evaluation and analysis, dont play Chess.com, worst website.

You have a strange definition of "everything"

You can trial any of their premium memberships for a month (just remember to set your subscription to cancel or it will renew, like every other subscription service) and see if you like the lessons on there. Maybe the knowledge that you've got a month will actually encourage you to use the lessons before they're gone. You can then compare them to the lessons elsewhere and decide which ones work best for you and decide whether you want to pay for more of theirs or just use other sources.

They're the #1 chess website and the #3 gaming website in the world in March 2023 according to https://www.similarweb.com/top-websites/games/ Lichess is #2 and #8 respectively, so they're doing a lot of things well too, but bad mouthing the competition speaks to one's own insecurities rather than the truth.
