There ought to be a god dammed rule: The person who asks the question must first answer it.
It would given everyone else a base line to work with.

and you know why the books above and below are sub-optimal ^^
„Think Like a GM“ is considered utterly useless nowadays. Do you think like a tree? I don’t think like a tree.

For your playing strength
Stean--Simple chess--- usefull strategies-- shown in fragments and annotated games-- this book is short--clear and sweet.
Muller --Endgames for kids--- Probably the best essential endgame book I have ever studied--- more relevant than 100 endgames you must know-- Explanations are clear examples are well chosen-- a perfect endgame primer.
The dutch steps method--- scholastic tactical exercise books for cheap--- examples are on point and if the material is two easy go up a step --- to hard go down a step. I would suggest a refresher course in step 2 workbook and step 3 workbook The dive right into step four --trainers manual and workbook.
They also have the cheapest and most varied visualization course in their series 'Thinking ahead--- the workbooks run for 5 euro and will improve your tactical alertness.
Polgar---5334 combinations---- utter pattern farming--- this book cements in cracks in the pattern concrete.
Finally the course distributor Chessable has an Author named AlanB who has courses ( books) written specifically for the sight. He has a number of free books to sample his teaching method--- They are pure gold-- after training his free stuff for a year I started buying the paid ones which run from 10-15 dollars--- and they are among my favorites.
These suggestions weren't for the greatest chess books of all time.. They are just what I think would cause a player rated 1900 on lichess to improve in a semi balanced but tactically focused way.
Notice I didn't include any opening courses on my suggestions. The reasons are 1. I don't focus heavily on openings-- 2. Openings are more personal.
