Was the lichess rating system changed?

I dont' see why he was banned. He wasn't cheating, He simply played high rated players like 2500s and 2900s, but compared to his own rating, which is 3900, lichess considered it increasing and decreasing? Unless the people he played were also his accounts.

@Komokid Ratings manipulation is cheating. His most common opponent was an account that was also created today with a provisional rating of 3400. Both accounts got popped.
